About the firm

A practice built on a promise delivered.

Independent since 1990

Earth Construct Zone is not a regional office of another contractor. Dan Bowman founded the firm in Alameda to keep estimating, engineering, and field direction in one accountable office.

The company grew from a local practice into a larger organization while holding three written values: innovation in how buildings are assembled, integrity in what is promised, and sustainability in how materials and energy are specified.

Typical assignments are general building, steel-reinforced concrete, design-build interiors, civic and campus work, and system upgrades in occupied buildings. Delivery is specification-led. Submittals, RFIs, and as-builts stay with the project file.

How we run a job

Innovation

Methods are chosen for the drawing set in front of us, including steel-reinforced concrete where it improves strength and schedule.

Integrity

The office motto is simple: a promise made is a promise delivered. Scope that is not in the contract is not implied in the marketing.

Sustainability

Safety, workforce standards, and resilient assemblies are treated as part of the job, not a separate brochure.

What we will not claim

This site does not reuse another contractor’s project gallery, awards, or leadership list. Project names here are internal titles for representative work types. If you need a reference for a live bid, the Alameda office will provide contacts from jobs Earth Construct Zone actually performed.
